I went out last night to see how Bessie would handle night shots. I felt creepy lurking around a park with a tripod and camera, but such is life. I didn’t bother really, I don’t know… learning how to use my camera before I went out. It wouldn’t have been such a problem if it wasn’t dark out. Whoops.
There was this orange fingernail of a moon hanging over the horizon; just perfect. A more competent photographer would’ve brought you stunning images. A more competent photographer would’ve realized that his camera was stuck at ISO 100, which just kills the shot, even at a thirty-second exposure. Again, whoops.
Here’s the only half-decent shot I got. I like it, at least partly because it serves to remind me to do my homework.
