It’s time for some housecleaning as I finish up the 13th sketchbook I’ve filled since I started keeping a visual journal in 2007. This one I started on June 17th, which means I did 108 pages in under three months. That’s kind of crazy by my standards.
First, a highly idealized version of family dinners at my house. Can you spot the thirty things wrong with this picture?
It was pretty fun to put my full effort into something so detailed and cartoony. Then a couple weeks later my department at work went on a bit of a retreat to the mountains for a day. I was expecting to do a spread or two, and ended up doing four.
And that about wraps it up. I should’ve scanned the cover of #13—it was covered with produce stickers. Ah well. Now on to the next one!
